I’ve Won the Asset Finance Rising Star Award at the 2025 Connective Excellence Awards!

Still on a high and pinching myself – I’ve just been named Asset Finance Rising Star (QLD/NT) at the 2025 Connective Excellence Awards! What an unreal night and the perfect way to finish a massive year in asset finance.

This job is all about getting real results for real Aussie businesses. Whether it’s putting a tradie in a new work ute the day after approval, helping a transport operator add another prime mover to the fleet, upgrading plant & equipment so a contractor can take on bigger contracts, or financing that extra company car so a growing business can keep moving forward – every deal is about helping people and companies take the next step. Taking out this award feels bloody amazing, but it’s really a win for everyone who’s backed me along the way.

First and foremost, a huge thank you to my clients – you absolute legends. You’ve trusted me to hunt down the best repayments, structure deals that actually work for your cash flow, and fight for approvals when others might walk away. Some files are done and dusted in 24 hours, others we grind out for weeks, but I give every single one 100%. This trophy has your names all over it – cheers for letting me be part of your growth.

To the crew at Connective, the best aggregator in the country: thank you. Your panel, systems, training, and support let me compete with the big end of town while still delivering that personal touch. To every BDM and credit assessor who answers the phone at stupid o’clock, brainstorms tricky scenarios, and genuinely wants the broker and client to win – you’re the real MVPs.

Massive congrats to the other nominees and winners too. What a ripper group of brokers pushing the industry forward. It’s an honour to share the stage with you all.
